Osteopathic Manipulation or Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) is a hands on technique that relieves tension, balances tissues, muscles, joints, and restores fluid balance with a goal to reduce pain, improve function and optimize health. OMT uses the relationship between the neuromusculoskeletal system and the rest of the body to restore function and/or to remove barriers to motion and healing. OMT can be used to treat many common problems that people experience, including headaches, arthritis, stress injuries, sports injuries, and pain in areas such as the lower back, neck, shoulders, and knees. Insurance Policy: Insurance companies regulate the amount of time and the services that can be provided by your doctor. Dr. Knecht does not take insurance so that you can have the time and treatment that you deserve. He will provide a superbill upon request that can be sent to your insurance company for reimbursement. You may pay the deposit with debit or major credit card and the rest at your visit with card or cash. Cancellation Policy: Please give at least 24 hours notice for cancellation and your deposit will be refunded.
